Defeat the debt collectors in lawsuits, end debt problems, and repair and restore your credit.
Overview of the Debt Defense System
To put it in plain, non-marketing English, if you’re being sued by a debt collector and can’t afford a lawyer, you should get one of our membership packages. You have an excellent chance to win if you fight, do the right things, and persist. People who do those thing almost always DO win. And those are the things membership is designed to help you do. With our memberships, you get the materials and guidance you need to win.
After you get the big picture, we’ll go into the specifics of our offer.
The first and maybe main thing that people need when they learn they’re being sued is encouragement. Even though they’ve been aware of debt piling up, most people still need some help breaking through the paralysis that comes when suit is finally filed. You don’t just need to know that winning is possible, you need to know it is possible for you, and that fighting the good fight won’t be a huge waste of time. Even when they have that, most people still need a little bit of a push to take action.
You get all that from us. Although it is impossible to say exactly how of our members win, my guess, based on people who have reported their results, is ninety percent or more. I know that because most members eventually announce their victories. Some, on the other hand, announce very favorable settlements. Our typical members believe they owe somebody, at least, for the debt in question, but they manage to win by forcing the debt collector who is suing them to prove its case. You can do that.
As many members and former members will tell you, I will practically twist your arm to get you to take the action you need.
You need to have a systematic knowledge of the debt-buying system. How do they make their money? How do they work? And how can YOU mess them up?
That’s something we understand very well. We understand what they’re trying to do, what it means, and what you need to do to stay “in the game.” And we can tell you what you need to know to make the decisions that will keep you on course.
Debt litigation is a long and sometimes difficult task (although sometimes it turns out to be quite easy). Debt collectors have a system that uses documents they’ve long since created. They say the same things, have the same evidence, and respond to your attempts to defend yourself with the same brick wall.
We help level the playing field. We’ll help you challenge their bogus petitions, attack their bogus evidence, and wear them down when they try to stonewall you. Yes, the process will take work, but you’ll have help and guidance along the way that will allow you to make your efforts count.
When they see what you can do, most debt collectors eventually fold their tents and go away.
Even if they don’t, you will actually win, by motion or at trial, almost every time.
Frankly, one of the biggest problems most people representing themselves have is getting the court to take their arguments seriously. As you will see when you go to court, judges are used to a nearly endless line of people heading past like sheep on their way to shearing – they make the best arguments they can, but since they don’t know what they’re doing, they make the WRONG arguments. Or they make no arguments at all even if they show up.
And the judgments roll out almost endlessly. The judges practically snooze through it all, it’s so routine for them.
Then you show up with good arguments, and the first thing you have to do is wake up the judge. It isn’t always easy, and you can’t do it by yelling. You have to do it by making arguments in the right time and place, in the right way, and often enough, repeatedly. Most people need help with all that.
We’ve got tons of materials on the site for members, but even more important than that are the teleconferences. That’s where you get to talk it through. You can say you’re scared, and people will understand. You can ask what something means, and you’ll get answers.
And we’ll ask you questions that will help guide you through the process. Because we have a LOT of experience with this.
Have you ever tried to find a lawyer to help you? A few of the people we talk to DO try, and many others do not because they know what to expect. Of course, every so often you’ll find someone who knows this kind of law and doesn’t charge an arm and a leg, but what people are telling me is that they can’t find a lawyer for under $2,000. And a lot of lawyers want to charge a percentage of the debt on top of that! If you hire a lawyer by the hour, you probably won’t get out of it even that cheaply.
That makes membership in Your Legal Leg Up the best deal in town. You’ll buy a Debt Defense package for between $140 and $200 (divided into two installments) and pay a membership of between $19.95 and 29.95 per month (depending on the level of membership). You’ll have to work, and there are no guarantees that you’ll win (although almost every member does), but you will learn a lot about the law – and a lot about yourself. You’ll get to attend at least two teleconferences per week, you’ll get samples of the documents you need. You’ll get special reports and occasional up-to-the-minute bulletins on strategies… You’ll get what you need to protect your rights.
As we often say, when you’re representing yourself, time becomes your friend. The lawyer representing the debt collector isn’t going to be happy if he isn’t making at least $200 per hour (and probably far more than that), but you can run him ragged. You have to be willing to work, but you don’t want to waste your time. We’ll help you use your time wisely to make your chances the best they can be.
